Good aloe vera starts
with good land

Univera manages the entire process, from the land where aloe vera grows to the moment a product is complete.
We have pioneered our own farms in the best growing regions and continued to advance processes that preserve the beneficial compounds of our raw materials.

Univera's vast aloe vera farm

What kind of plant is aloe vera?

Vitality nurtured by the heat of nature

Aloe vera leaves reaching straight up under a blue sky

The strength to fill its leaves with life, even in parched land:
that strength is the value of aloe vera.

Aloe vera is a plant that survives in dry, harsh environments by storing ample water in its leaves. The clear aloe gel inside the leaf contains a variety of beneficial compounds, and polysaccharides in particular are known as aloe vera's key functional components.

Even within the same variety, aloe vera quality varies with climate, soil, cultivation method, harvest timing and processing conditions. This is why Univera seeks out good land, operates its own farms and carefully manages every step.

Global farms

To lands around the world in search of good raw materials

To secure a stable supply of raw materials and maintain consistent quality, Univera has built a global farm network across the United States, Mexico and Russia.
We cultivate and research aloe vera and a variety of natural products suited to each region's natural environment and plant resources.

Cultivation principles

Cultivation principles that protect the power of nature

  • Principle 01

    We choose a good environment

We carefully assess the natural conditions aloe vera cultivation requires, including ample sunlight, a suitable climate, soil and water resources.

  • Principle 02

    We harvest healthy, well-grown leaves

We select fully grown leaves from each aloe vera plant and harvest only as many as needed, caring for the plant so it can keep growing healthily.

  • Principle 03

We care for nature and the land

We apply farming methods that consider the soil and ecosystem, and strive to produce good raw materials in a sustainable way.

  • Principle 04

We manage time from harvest to processing

To preserve the beneficial compounds of harvested aloe vera, we link our farms with processing facilities and process the leaves quickly according to set time, temperature and hygiene standards.

Harvesting and processing

Within 6 hours of harvest: the time that keeps it fresh

The beneficial compounds of aloe vera are affected by time and temperature after harvest.
Univera completes the key steps from harvesting through washing, filleting and cooling within 6 hours, preserving the freshness and beneficial compounds of the raw material.

Because we grow it ourselves,
we know our raw materials from the very start

Univera's quality does not start with inspecting finished products.
It comes from holding to a single standard at every step: finding good land, growing the plants, harvesting and processing them.
This is the raw material strength Univera has built over 50 years.
